Jon Jones fires back at ‘f—king nerd’ Israel Adesanya

Newly-crowned UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya recently went on another series of tirades against 205-pound title holder Jon Jones. “The Last Stylebender” took a few minutes of his interview time on the Ariel Helwani MMA Show on Monday, taking shots at “Bones.”

My confidence? Get my f—king nuts out of your mouth. This guy is trying to force my hand. I’m not stupid. It’s not about me not being confident. I will f—k this motherfu—er up when I fight him.

I just defended my belt and I am the new unified king. I have three or four more killers I have to f—k up at middleweight first. And then I will move up in weight. And then I will jump up and f—k this guy up.

Like the social media person that he is, it did not take long for Jones to issue his response, which he did so in a series of tweets.

Jones last fought at UFC 239 in July, where he won via split decision against Thiago Santos. He has yet to book his next fight, but he did tease a “big announcement” in mid-September.
